Anuraga Matrimony is a 30+-year-old organization, which got started by searching grooms for the brides in the family. Later it transformed into a hobby and then as a social service for the need of family and friend circle. It was not intentional, but started growing with word of mouth and references and had enough clients to call it an organization in a short span. In the year 2015, we launched a website to help the people who were visiting us from various parts of Karnataka at Mysore. This has grown into a popular Brahmin Matrimony website today.

Even in Brahmins also, Anuraga Matrimony is covering mostly the South-Indian Brahmins, but other Sub-groups of Brahmins have the option to join and use our service.

Profiles with Intercaste-Brahmin marriage of parents are also allowed, but we insist them to mention the details in the profile to avoid any nuisance at a later stage.

We do not disfavor any other castes or religion. Since it was never thought or started as a business, we never tried to extend it to other communities. It is just not adding profiles to the database.  In-depth knowledge about the community is required to serve the clients properly. Since we lack it we didn’t try to widen it. We allow other Hindu castes profiles on request, but the choices of getting a match are less.
